WE’RE HIRING!
We are currently hiring direct care workers (called Sidekicks)! We have full and part time positions available on three different shifts (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6am). No experience necessary!
Sidekicks provide care and support for the adults with disability who live at Benjamin's Hope. This includes personal care for some and friendship for all. Sidekicks are there to support our residents in living life to the fullest!
This is not an easy position, and there will be days that are very demanding. You will find yourself stretched and challenged, and (we are confident!) deeply blessed.

OUR MODEL
There’s a longing in every heart to belong. For us, belonging is about creating space where people of differing abilities can live, learn, play and worship with autonomy and connection. Our organizational model supports choice and independence, responsibility and purpose, enrichment, faith and participation.
LIVE
Over 30 adults with a range of intellectual and developmental differences, including autism, have chosen to call Benjamin’s Hope home. These men and women live in independent or semi-independent apartments within welcoming farm-style homes.
LEARN
NEXT is a weekday program that allows adults from the community to participate in a growth-focused, life-long learning program. Participants engage in community-based daytime activities that focus on whole-person development through volunteerism, horticulture, physical fitness, spiritual growth and social development.
PLAY
Play happens organically in the welcoming and natural environment of Benjamin’s Hope. Whether visiting alpacas, walking the winding trails of the area, meeting friends at Club Connect or strolling through our sensory gardens, play refreshes and makes space for meaningful friendships here.
WORSHIP
People throughout West Michigan gather to participate in the Church of Benjamin’s Hope. This radically inclusive and refreshing experience enfolds people of all abilities in the accepting love of Jesus and celebrates people as they are. Our weekly worship service is held on campus Sundays at 6pm.
THE BEN’S HOPE WAY
Committed to loving God and others, we fiercely respect the dignity, intelligence and value of all humans. We are creative, courageous and committed to excellence. Through the love of Christ we live the abundant life together.
